Membership Sales Rep Needed

Full Time, flexible schedule, base plus commission, includes free membership.

Job Description: Membership Coordinator

 The primary role of a Membership Coordinator is to promote the sale of new memberships utilizing the Sports Academy System by capitalizing on internal and external leads, encouraging usage of the club(s) by all members and promoting the long-term continuance of membership of present members.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

** Uses Telephone Inquiries, Non-Member Contacts and Walk-In Guests
efficiently and effectively to provide each potential new member with information about the club(s) in an effort to sell a membership.

 

** Provides tours of the club(s) to each guest interested in membership.

 - Get proper information from guest prior to tour to give adequate tour.

 - Present Apex Five Components System to each potential new member.

 - Give a minimum of 3 trial closes during the tour.

- It is the responsibility of Membership Coordinators to meet a minimum of 20 points per month. If an individual does not meet the minimum requirement two months in a row, individual may be dismissed.

 

** Follows up on all leads obtained on one’s own and provided by the club(s). Has a minimum of 2 lead boxes our in the community and checks and updates them weekly.

 

** Sends a handwritten ‘thank-you” note to each guest who visits the club(s) and follow up as needed.

 

** Uses Member Contacts (at least 10 per day) to increase member retention  and obtain referrals.

- Member contacts must be made via telephone/in-club (SBWA) contacts

- Will be present and help plan, set up and facilitate club/member activities and programs.

 

 

 

** Makes at least 20 Non-Member Contacts per day via telephone.

 

** Uses Outreach to approach local companies and organizations to invite them to use the club(s) and also, for the purpose of corporate memberships for their employees or associates.

 

** Tracks and records each lead, contact, and sale in Daily Worksheet book. Tallies book at the end of each day and gives numbers to Sales Director.

 

** Meets with Sales Director for a daily 15-minute meeting to discuss sales, leads and progress.

 

** Completes computer generated contracts correctly and makes sure all paperwork is filled out completely with all required signatures for every membership contract.

 

** Adheres to Membership dress code of Business Casual daily.

 

** Maintains personal commitment to fitness.

 

** Memorizes and understands World Indoor Sports (WINS) Mission Statement and core values.

 

** Maintains highest level of professional ethics and compliance with all club rules, policies, and regulations.
