Tri- Cache SA – Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start anytime?
Yes, you can start the Tri-Cache SA Team at any time.
Is Master Swim included?
Unfortunately Master swim can’t be included.  Master swim is $30/ month for members and $45 / month for non-members.
When will the workouts be?
Workouts will be varied depending on the club member that is arranging the session.
What races are will the training plan be written for?
A group generic plan will be loosely followed.  If desire a specific training plan one can be written by a certified coach for an additional fee.  See information on Tri-Coach Emily Monroe-Jones.
What training experience is necessary?
Our program is designed to meet all levels.  Each workout will have multiple levels, just like Master Swim workouts.  Elite athletes may need additional workouts beyond the group trainings.
Will there be TRX training included?
TRX suspension training is significantly helps to train a complete athlete and especially beneficial for swimming but cannot be included in group sessions.  Private and small group sessions are offered at the Sports Academy by Emily Monroe-Jones.
What races will the Tri-Cache Team be attending?
We want to support events local to Logan, many athletes attend the  November Turkey Trot at Smithfield Recreation center, Ogden Marathon, BBSC St. George Tri in May,  BBSC Bear Lake Tri in June, Freedom Run in July,  Top of Utah marathon and half, plus many Iron Man Sanctioned events.
What about racing/training clothing?
We are designing a logo now and planning to print long sleeve performance shirts in men’s and women’s cuts.  The shirts will be only available to Tri-Cache SA members.
Where will trainings be held?
Group sessions can be held anywhere at the discression of the session leader, usually based out of the  Sports Academy but may include the  river trail, Bonneville trail, USU track and local roads.
